Yet another week has passed so we've reached the 17 week mark. No new symptoms to report. Still feeling great and chugging right along.
"Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — his lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and he's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. He can move his joints, and his sweat glands are starting to develop."
We had our routine monthly doctor's appointment last Thursday and everything is at it should be. Baby's heart rate was 140 beats per minute and we got to listen to it which is always so amazing. Our next appointment is September 30th and that is the major ultrasound appointment where they measure all of the parts and make sure everything is perfect. We are really looking forward to it because I absolutely love getting to see him.
Hope that you all are enjoying your Labor Day! This weekend, like all the rest flew by way too fast. But hey, we're entering a four day work week! Make it a great day!
