With baseball considered America's favorite past time, everyone loves a good old fashioned ball game.
Here's a recap of last night's Tampa Bay Rays game in the voice of my husband Rich...
"The Rays defeated the Baltimore Orioles last night with a score of 5 to 0 to secure their second playoff birth in team history. The win improved their record to 94-63, which is good enough to guarantee them either the American League East Champs or the American League Wild Card team. The win was followed by the usual champagne showers for all the players and coaches. An announcement was also made by team president, Matt Silverman, that the organization would make 20,000 free tickets available to Wednesday night's game which is the Rays regular season home finale. Go Rays!"
For today's edition of "Way Back When-esday," we're looking back to 2007 when Rich and I escaped for a weekend getaway over to Tampa. We saw a couple Rays games and ate way too much pizza in our hotel room after the games.
So much has changed since then and all for the better! But, it is so much fun to look back and remember all of the old times when our relationship was in it's first steps and just beginning to flourish.
Who knows, maybe we'll get to catch a playoff game?! Go Rays!
