This week we're looking back to when my husband Rich was just a young whipper-snapper.
He's pictured below with his big brother Scott and little sister Ashley. They were on a family camping trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We've surmised that he must be 7 years old here.
When I asked Rich what he remembered about that particular trip, he said that he carved an entire city into a tree stump for his cars to drive through. You see, Rich always had a briefcase full of matchbox cars. He also remembered that there were many rides through the mountains in the old yellow jeep, yummy meals at Cracker Barrel, and lots of campfires.
I can't wait to take trips like this as a family when Cooper arrives!
Remember, you're always making a memory that will last a lifetime.
Play along with Cheryl at Twinfatuation. It's so much fun to reminisce!
