I'm playing a bit of catchup today since I didn't post anything yesterday. We were having too much fun on our anniversary so now there are two posts in the same day!
We've reached the 25 week mark and I can barely believe it. This pregnancy has been so easy thus far and I am praying that it stays that way. Cooper continues to move a lot and I've noticed what I think is his routine. He's definitely most active when I get home from work and relax for a bit on the couch and then again when I am laying in bed, getting ready to sleep in the evenings.
Onto the update from BabyCenter.com-
"Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. His weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but he's beginning to exchange his long, lean look for some baby fat. As he does, his wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and he'll start to look more and more like a newborn. He's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture."
I'm moving a little slower these days and get tired way more easily. I've found that as I am doing housework or running errands, there is a more frequent need to sit down and take a break. Lately I have been having a bit of cramping and some major lower back pain but I think that's just my body's way of getting me ready for Cooper to make his grand entrance into the world. My feet are also really swollen come days end and it feels so nice to prop them up. I even beg Rich, my oh so loving husband, for a tootsie or back rub from time to time. I consider myself one lucky gal because he never says no.
25 down, 15 to go... scary thought!
