This weekend was a busy one indeed (be sure to check back tomorrow for K&K wedding details)!
Needless to say, we spent yesterday trying to catch up on some much needed rest and relaxation. Luckily for us, the weather was perfect for cuddling on the couch and catching up on some of our DVR'd shows. Unfortunately, I am coming down with a cold. I think that it was the drastic change in weather over these past few days. Only in Florida can it be in the 90's one day and down to the 40's the next.
Onto the update from BabyCenter.com:
"The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days."
Other than the cold, all is well! Cooper is a moving machine these days.
My mother in law Donna played the organ at the wedding this past weekend and Cooper loved it! The minute the church filled with the sound of the organ, he started to dance a jig! She said that she experienced the same thing when she was pregnant her children.
Some of you have asked to here it is... the bump at 25 weeks and 5 days!
I am still in awe of this whole experience. I feel beyond blessed to be a Mother.
