Happy Monday all! We had a busy weekend here at the Halquist house. We were buzzing around watching Christmas movies with family, registering for our baby shower, family photos for our Christmas card, and a baby shower for my friend Julie. We had a great time and are left longing for next weekend! If this week goes by how the last few have, it will be here before we know it!
Seriously, could time slow down just a bit? There is so much to do! For example, this little lady hasn't bought the first Christmas present. That's right. Not one. Our Christmas tree is looking a little lonely.
Onto the update from BabyCenter.com-
"This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy."
I am going to post an update tomorrow with the details of our sonogram appointment last week but I can tell you now, this update does not apply to Cooper! He's growing like a weed and Mom can feel every bit of it.
Lord help me!
