Way Back When-esday- Christmas through the eyes of a child...

Christmas is just around the corner so this week and next week's edition of "Way Back When-esday" is dedicated to our childhood Christmas'.

This week is Rich's turn!

Here he's pictured on Christmas morning with his big brother Scott and little sister Ashley. Rich was almost two in this picture. He was supposed to be turning two, as his due date was actually Christmas day, but he made his very pregnant Momma wait all the way until January 10th to make his debut.

I love looking at pictures of Rich as a little boy because I get even more excited about what Cooper may look or act like. Here, Rich is walking around with one of his presents. It was a teach and play clown and when I asked Rich about this particular toy he said, "I really loved that clown!"

But, like most little boys, the presents that his parents shopped for went to the wayside when he saw a cabinet that he could crawl in. His Mom's Christmas present became Rich's new fort. His Mom says that there were always cars and trains in that cabinet, not a lick of china. You have to love motherhood!

Check back next week when we'll take a look at my experiences with Santa Claus. Hit or miss? You'll just have to wait and see!

Play along with Cheryl at Twinfatuation. It's so much fun to reminisce!

  1. Isn't it fun to look at our beloveds' pasts and imagine ours growing up similarly (or differently)?

Can hardly wait to see YOUR Christmases past!

Thank you so much for playing along with Way Back When-esday, Meagan!
